CDM Stravilink PRJ
Stravilink PRJ* spring isolation joist hangers are designed to support suspended ceiling systems off joist structural floors, optimizing sound insulation between vertically stacked rooms.
Standard hangers spring hangers are:
- Stravilink PRJ-80: 5-10 kg per hanger
- Stravilink PRJ-250: 10-35 kg per hanger
- Stravilink PRJ-500: 25-60 kg per hanger
Main Benefits
- Natural frequency at design load around 4Hz
- Can be used to hang down most suspended ceiling systems
- Steel elements are zinc plated
- Bespoke hangers can be manufactured to meet specific loading and natural frequency requirements on request
- System comes with perimeter isolation strip to isolate the perimeter of the ceiling from the surrounding structures
Design Requirements
- Weight and construction of the supported ceiling (determine the type of hanger)
- Weight of any elements supported off the suspended ceiling or directly off a hanger
- Required void between the supporting soffit and the suspended ceiling
